Kira Henkel

Kira studied music and literature in Freiburg, Leipzig and Gießen. After a one-year research stay at the Archivio Luigi Nono in Venice, she moved to Hamburg and worked for three years on the research project »Poetry in the Digital Age« at the University of Hamburg. During this time, she began writing her doctoral thesis on the encounters between poetry and music in contemporary song art.

Since January 2026, she has been working as an manager assistant for Ensemble Resonanz.
