Corinna Guthmann

Corinna Guthmann was born in Lahr (Black Forest) in 1971 and received her first violin lessons at age five. In 1983, she became a student of the Pflüger Foundation in Freiburg under the musical leadership of Prof. Wolfgang Marschner.

After highschool, she studied with Prof. Nicolas Chumachenco at the Freiburg University of Music and later with Ulrich Edelmann at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt where she graduated in 1999. Since 1998, she has been a permanent member of Ensemble Resonanz. In addition, she is a regular guest at various ensembles including the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble, the SWR Symphony Orchestra Freiburg/Baden-Baden, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, the Ensemble Oriol Berlin, the Rundfunksinfonieorchester Berlin, the Berlin Revue Orchester and the Kammerkunstverein Hamburg.
